Mark took three of the players from the Xavier soccer team to a Cincinnati high school to speak to their soccer team. Pictured above with Mark is Josh, Kaleb, and Samson. Mark’s guys shared with the students about their faith in Christ, and also how they integrate their faith into their sport. One of the coaches of the team who is a Xavier AIA alumni texted me this afterward:
“Mark, it was wonderful!! It couldn’t have been more on par with what our boys needed to hear. I’m so impressed with the work you are doing with AIA and the athletes at XU. Please thank the players again for taking the time to speak to us and wish them the best of luck. They seem like amazing young men!”
We count it as a privilege to see the Lord at work in the lives of these young athletes.
