Nia is one of our Xavier alumni. Â She was a sprinter who ran track and graduated in May. Â Nia, along with Nick (another sprinter) and Joel (a soccer player) are all past Xavier graduates who have been helping lead the ministry here on campus. Â They all have jobs in town, and so they are busy, but the Lord has laid upon their hearts to share the love of Jesus Christ with the current students. Â Nia told me that a highlight for her has been being able to be a part of molding our leaders (Spiritual Team Captains) at our Monday night Bible study. Mark and I are encouraged to have these young alumni continuing to engage with our current student athletes. Their presence is making a big impact on our campus and in the Kingdom.
