Recently our son David proposed to Rachel Self, and they plan to marry in May of 2016. Rachel is a 2015 graduate of Wheaton College with a degree in Graphic Design. David and Rachel have known each other for about five years. Rachel has many creative interests including music, art and cooking (she is very talented in all of these), and actually helped lead her high school soccer team to a state championship. She was raised in Cincinnati, less than a mile from where we live, but she spent half of her senior year of college in South Africa, where David grew up. She is a lovely young lady with a heart for God, loads of kindness, and a sparkling personality. Please rejoice with us and pray for them as they plan for their wedding and future together.
