New Staff Orientation

What a joy it is to see the Lord raise up the next generation of missionaries! I had the privilege last week to help train 22 of our new staff who are being sent all over the world. I am often reminded of Jesus’s words in Luke 10:2 when He said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest.” That is what this is all about. It’s what gets me up in the morning. Your prayers and generosity are making it possible for this next generation of missionaries to be sent out into the harvest. Thank you.

My national director role within AIA includes an opportunity to serve all of Cru in onboarding our new staff. Three years ago when I took this position I helped out with one of these training sessions. That was virtual due to Covid, but this one being face to face made all the difference.

Here is what one of our new staff said:

“This training is at the heart of what we do in Cru. It has made me a more confident evangelist, team leader, and more confident than ever at trusting Jesus to meet all of our needs. As a team leader, I am excited to send the interns and new staff that we recruit to this training because I know it will make them stronger missionaries.”
