Lasagna, Games and Golfers … Sasquatch too

Lasagna, games, and golfers’ night in our home was the kick off event for the S.O.U. Spring golf season. Every single one of the players came and they couldn’t get enough of being in our home. We played fun games and even learned some of their nicknames. Guess which one is “Sasquatch”! We continue to share the love and message of Jesus Christ with these players.

College Tournaments and Rules Officiating

I am going to be attending the Silverado Showdown in Napa, California (April 8-10), as well as the PAC-12 Conference Championship in Pullman, Washington (April 21-23), NCAA Regionals in Cle Elum, Washington (May 6-8), and the NCAA National Championship in Carlsbad, California (May 17-22) as a spectator, encouraging the players, coaches, and parents, building relationships, making connections and sharing Christ.

I have been asked to be a rules official for the Mountain West Conference Championship (April 26-28). Can you believe it! I was praising God when I received that email. Please pray for me as I hope to gain access to officiating at the NCAA National Tournament level. It may take time and experience. It does take meeting the right people and becoming known. A big shout-out to my former University of Arizona golf coach in helping me make headway with this. (Hey Coach Haddow!)

If you happen to turn on the Masters Tournament at Augusta this month, may you be reminded to pray for us as we seek to share the good news of THE Master with college golfers.
